Individual Registrations:

 All new interested players will need to create a profile on our website @ www.seattlevolleyballclub.com. If you do not yet have a team, please indicate that you are looking for a team when creating your online profile.

Team Registrations:

 Teams need to register by Friday, January 4th, 2008 for division planning purposes. Team Captains will build their online roster by selecting their players’ profiles.

Rosters:

 Rosters are also due by Friday, January 4th, 2008.

DIVISION ELIGIBILTY RULE CHANGES AND NEW SVC NUMERIC PLAYER RATINGS

All SVC Fall 2007 Division 1, 2 and 3 players have been assigned a new numeric SVC rating based on the Seattle Volleyball Club Rating Program. The program assesses a player’s abilities with skill based questions. The Program will be posted on SeattleVolleyballClub.com on the Documents page. Each player’s numeric rating will be viewable by all Seattle Volleyball Club registered members, and a complete summary of your individual rating will be posted on your Profile. Please check the website for these new additions over the next few days.

In addition to the new SVC numeric ratings, the Divisional Eligibility definitions have been revised. Please make sure your Winter 2008 team rosters are in compliance. Division Eligibility definitions are located as part of the Seattle Volleyball Club Rules & Regulations, located on the Documents page.

CHAMPIONS ELIGIBILITY RULE (Moratorium)

There is a moratorium on the Champions Elibility rule for Champions of the Fall 2007 season. (The Champions Eligbility rule states that teams that won the end of season tournament must move up to the next highest division.) Individuals and Teams may not move to a lower division without consent from the SVC Director. Please email Jared Walters if you would like to move down a division.

DIVISION 4 OFFICIALS NEEDED

We are currently looking for interested SVC members who would like to officiate the weekly Division 4 play nights. We are looking for someone who has at least a basic understanding of Volleyball rules and who has played at least at the SVC Division 3 level. There is compensation involved for the selected officials.
