The complete 2011 Emerald City Cat Fight Program has been posted. Included are the complete details of all competition and events associated with this year's Seattle Tournament. Please make sure your team attends the Registration Party at RPlace Bar & Night Club on Friday evening. Complimentary Hot Mama's Gourmet Pizza will be served, and then stick around to watch RPlace's Lashes Cabaret Show, featuring Lady Chablis and the Cat Fight's own La Saveona Hunt. The Signature 2011 Cat Fight T-Shirts will be distributed along with your tournament packet. If you can't attend this event on Friday Evening, you will need to be at the gym at 7:00am Saturday to sign.
On Friday, September 9th, Seattle Volleyball Club will host the tournament registration party at RPlace, from 7 - 10:00pm on the 3rd Floor. Upon arrival you will sign in with the NAGVA Regional Commissioner, and receive your tournament packet. Included in the tournament packet is the signature 2011 ECCF T-shirt, RPlace Entry Passes, Pool Schedules, maps to the playing facilities, and other tournament information.

It is very important that as many participants as possible register on Friday night rather than on Saturday. For those that are unable to make the Friday night registration, late registration will be completed on Saturday morning only from 7:00 - 7:30am at Garfield High School. After 7:30am, registration will only be completed if and when the NAGVA Regional Commissioner is available. Every player must sign in prior to their 1st Match. If a player is found to have played without signing the tournament waivers, the team will lose all matches played and be subject to disqualification from the tournament.
On Saturday evening we will continue the Cat Fight at the Purr Cocktail Lounge from 7:00 - 10:00pm. We will enjoy complimentary drinks (2 cocktails or drafts each) and gourmet tacosa. The Pool Play results and tournament seedings will be announced by 8:45pm on Purr's numerous video screens.
Pool Play Results, Seeding, and Tournament Bracket Pairings will be announced at 8:45pm. If you are unable to attend the Cat Fight Party, you can find the Seeding and Bracket Pairings for Sunday by 10:00pm on the Seattle Volleyball Club Website.

Identification will be required when checking in at Purr to receive the complimentary drink tickets. Only present players will be issued drink tickets. If your team has absent players, your team will NOT be issued additional tickets for those absent players. Please remember, you are still expected to tip your bartenders! Once you have used your complimentary drink tickets, you can purchase additional drinks directly with your bartender or server.
ECCF 2011 competition will be held at the new Garfield High School and Garfield Community Center which are located adjacent to each other on the same block. On Sunday morning, the BB division will be competing at the Rainier Community Center on 4 courts. At approximately 1:00pm, the remaining BB teams will join AA and B at the Garfield High School gym to complete tournament play. Division specific gym assignments for Pool Play will be made based on division size.

PARKING
Parking can be a challenge in this neighborhood, please make sure to park in a legal parking spot either on the street or in the facility parking lots. Garfield High School has a small parking lot on the west side of the gym accessible on 23rd Avenue. There is a much larger parking lot around the back of the school, accessible off of 25th Avenue. The Garfield Community Center has a small parking lot accessible via E Cherry Street, along with Street parking on 24th Avenue and E Cherry Street.
FOOD & ALCOHOL POLICY - GYMS
Both facilities have a strict no Food policy for the inside of the gyms. All food must be stored and consumed in the hallways or common areas. Teams found to have players with food in the gym will be subject to a 13 point penalty on their next match. Please be mindful of where you store your gym bags and belongings. They should always be clear of playable court area and in the bleachers when available.
ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED IN THE FACILITIES OR ON THE PREMISES. THE PENALTY IS AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE TOURNAMENT FOR ANY PLAYER FOUND TO BE IN POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL.
REGISTRATION
All teams are to register for the tournament via the NAGVA Website at www.nagva.org. If you are a returning NAGVA player, simply login to the site with your site credentials, pay your 2010 – 2011 individual Player and Team NAGVA fees, and add your team to the ECCF tournament. If you are a new NAGVA member, you will need to 1st create a NAGVA website profile. Team captains, please inform your players to pay their 2010 - 2011 NAGVA individual player fees online at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the tournament.
EXTRA PLAYERS
The Regular Team Entry fee includes up to 7 rostered players, additional rostered players can be added for $65 each.
PAYMENT
Your team's entry into ECCF 2011 is not confirmed until SVC receives your Team Entry Fee. The regular entry fee is $475 ($489 via PayPal) extended thru August 19th, 2011!
The late entry fee after August 12th, 2011 is $550 ($566 via PayPal) by the final deadline of August 26th, 2011.
After August 26th teams will be accepted only if gym space allows.
Payments will be accepted via PayPal or with a Cashier's Check / Money Order payable to Seattle Volleyball Club to the address in the Payment Tools section of this webpage.
ENTRY CONFIRMATION
Entry into the tournament is based on a first paid basis by postmark date. No personal checks will be accepted. Once SVC has received your team's payment your team's status will be updated on the NAGVA site and listed as confirmed. SVC will make every effort to accommodate all teams who wish to participate, but space is limited, so please send your entry fees asap. ECCF '11 Entered Teams

All NAGVA annual membership fees must be paid prior to participation in the ECCF 2011. The NAGVA season runs from June 1st thru May 31st each year, and you must renew both your individual and team fees each season. Please make sure that your player's pay their 2011 -2012 NAGVA fees online at least 1 week prior to the tournament.
The tournament hotel for ECCF 2011 is the Silver Cloud Inn on Broadway. The Silver Cloud is a short trek of 1 -3 miles to the playing facilities, and is a quick walk to most of the Gay Night Life in Seattle. Rooms are offered at $149 / night for a King room, and $159 / night for 2 Queen beds. The booking deadline has been extended thru August 26th to receive the reduced rates. Please call the Silver Cloud reservations @ 800-590-1801 and ask for the Seattle Volleyball Club rate or the Group Master Code: SEAVBALL.
NAGVA's Official Certification process has changed. All courses and tests will be conducted online @ www.nagva.org. On-site tournament clinics will no longer be conducted. Please make sure to complete your on-line Official's test at least 2 weeks in advance of ECCF 2011. Every team must have a NAGVA or USAV certified Official and Scorekeeper. Teams that do not have a certified Official and Scorekeeper will be charged $20 / match to secure an official.
The awards ceremony will be held at the Garfield High School gymnasium immediately following the conclusion of the last final. All semi-finals and finals will be played at the Garfield High School Gym. We expect all competition to be completed by 6:00pm.
1st thru 3rd place teams will receive medals for each of their players and a team trophy. An All - Tournament team will be selected for each division, which will include 4 AllStars, a Defensive Diva and MVP.
The All - Tournament team will receive the Cat Fight Warmup Jacket as a prize for their superior tournament performance.

The Triple Tiara is a prized award given to the team that performs best in all 3 Northwest NAGVA circuit tournaments. At least a core of 4 players must participate in all 3 tournaments in order to be eligible and in the running to receive the Triple Tiara. The Northwest NAGVA circuit host cities are: Seattle, Portland and Vancouver, B.C.
