SVC League

Seattle Volleyball Club, (SVC), is a social and recreational club whose primary purpose is to promote Volleyball activities for the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgender (LGBT) communities of Greater Seattle. SVC organizes indoor league competition for 2 main seasons, Fall and Winter. SVC may also hold Spring and Summer season, see below for the Season Schedule.

SVC will holds skill clinics and open gyms as a way to learn and sharpen volleyball skills, while also facilitating team formation across all divisions.  Skill Clinics are traditionally held in August and September for the Fall season, and the week between Christmas and New Year’s for the Winter Season.

SVC Tournaments

Emerald City Cat Fight
In addition to League Competition, SVC hosts both indoor and outdoor volleyball tournaments year round. Seattle Volleyball Club’s largest event is the annual Emerald City Cat Fight tournament, which traditionally takes place in mid-September.

Triple Tiara
The ECCF is the 1st stop of the Triple Tiara tournament series, as well as the 1st stop of the Northwest NAGVA Volleyball Circuit. The Triple Tiara is an award given to the best placing team thru all 3 Northwest Tournaments hosted by Seattle, Portland, and Vancouver, B.C. For the 2010 Triple Tiara Award, the winning team will be crowned at the Portland Last Chance tournament award ceremony, as Portland did not have their usual Fall Ball tournament in October. NAGVA & Championships
The Emerald City Cat Fight or ECCF, is a NAGVA, North American Gay Volleyball Association, sanctioned indoor Volleyball Tournament, and is one of many Canadian and U.S.A. city hosted events. In addition to city hosted events, NAGVA holds its annual Championships over Memorial Day weekend, and is hosted by a different NAGVA city each season. As many as 150 gay volleyball teams ascend on the host city for a weekend of fierce competition and camaraderie
