Emerald City Cat Fight 2010 - Sept 11th & 12th

UPDATE - AS OF 9/2//2010!
We are less than 1 week away from the start of Seattle's 2010 Emerald City Cat Fight Volleyballl Tournament, and registration is still open. Currently there are 32 teams signed up across 3 divisions with 14 teams entered in AA/A, 12 teams in BB division, and 6 teams entered in the B division.   This year's event is poised to be packed full of great fun and competition.

EARLY BIRD DEADLINE EXTENDED
The early bird deadline has been extended thru 8/28/2010 as there was an issue with a broken link to the PayPal tools that has since been corrected. Please see below for registration instructions. If you would like to participate but don't have a team, please post Matchmaker ads on both the SVC and NAGVA websites.

Seattle Volleyball Club is pleased to host the 2010 Emerald City Cat Fight September 10th – 12th.  ECCF 2010 kicks off the Northwest NAGVA Circuit and is the 1st stop in the prized Triple Tiara race, an award given out to the best placing team in all 3 Northwest tournaments, Seattle, Portland and Vancouver, BC.  ECCF 2010 will be returning to Capitol Hill this year, with all events and competition located within a 2mile radius.  We have room for 60 teams across 3 divisions, Modified-AA, BB and B divisions. For the Modified-AA division, AA teams may have up to 3 AA players on their roster. The Northwest NAGVA Circuit and Triple Tiara host cities, Seattle, Portland and Vancouver, have all chosen to offer a Modified-AA division in lieu of a standard A division.  We have some very exciting events planned for this year’s tournament, and hope to see everyone in Seattle in September!

FALL 2010 League Season

Seattle Volleyball Club’s FALL 2010 League Season will run the week of September 20th thru the 1st week of December. Divisional competition will be held weekly at various Capitol Hill and Central District locations, with the League Championship tournament held on either December 4th or 5th.
 
SVC will offer 4 divisions for the FALL 2010 season, D1, D2, D3 and D4.   Division 1 is SVC’s most skilled division, and Division 4 is SVC’s Novice or Beginner’s division. If you are not certain which division would best suit your volleyball abilities, please make sure to attend an SVC Skill Clinic, see below!
 
SVC will hold new player Skill Clinics and Open Gyms to prepare individuals and teams for the Fall League season. Please stay tuned for dates and times and complete information.  Skill Clinics provide basic instruction on the core Volleyball Skills, and allow new and existing players an avenue for finding a league team to join. The Open Gyms will allow you to apply what you have learned during the Skill Clinics in real game situations. Team captains will be on hand to assist in drills, while also looking out for players to add to their rosters. There will be opportunities for new captains to form teams in all divisions. So if you are interested in organizing a team come ready to complete your roster.
 
League Registration will open soon. Please stay tuned for complete details. Please create an SVC Website Profile by clicking the “Join” tab at the top of this page. This will ensure that you receive the latest and up to date information regarding SVC programs. If you will be looking for a team to join, you can use the Matchmaker Tools to post a player ad. The Matchmaker is the easiest way to find a team!

ECCF Extra Player & Late Fee Payments

The ECCF 2010 Team Entry Fee is $455 ($469 via PayPal) for up to 7 players by August 28th.  After August 28th, a $75 Late Fee is due. Each additional player over 7 is an additional $65 ($67 via PayPal).  Please use the below PayPal tools to remit Late and Extra Player Fees.

ECCF 2010 Entry & Payments!

Your team's entry into ECCF 2010 is not confirmed until SVC receives your Team Entry Fee. The Entry fee to participate is $455 ($469 via PayPal) for up to 7 players by August 28th, 2010 - UPDATE! After August 28th there will be a $75 late fee. Each additional player over 7 is an additional $65. The final deadline for participation in ECCF 2010 is Friday, August 28th, space permitting. Payments will be accepted via PayPal or with a Cashier's Check / Money Order payable to Seattle Volleyball Club to the address below. Entry into the tournament is based on a first paid basis by postmark date. No personal checks will be accepted.
